The story of a style shaped by craftsmanship
The Tod’s Group is based in Casette d’Ete (Fermo), in the Marche region, and was founded in the early 20th century as a small shoe factory. The company developed in the 1940s under Dorino Della Valle, father of Diego Della Valle, the Group’s current Chairman.
Over time, it has become one of the symbols of Italian excellence worldwide, expressing an aesthetic rooted in quality, durability, essentiality and restraint.
Every product is entirely made in Italy, through processes that combine the precision of traditional craftsmanship with a contemporary approach to design.
An undisputed icon of the brand is the Gommino, the signature loafer featuring 133 rubber pebbles on the sole – a distinctive element that has redefined the concept of relaxed elegance.
Italian Winter: a capsule collection that tells the Italian winter
For the winter season, Tod’s presents Italian Winter, a capsule collection that celebrates the art of experiencing the mountains with naturalness and subtle refinement.
A collection that speaks the language of Italian après-ski, where exclusivity is never displayed, but rather revealed through materials, forms and details.
Key elements of the collection include:
- the Winter Gommino, an ankle boot in suede with soft shearling lining
- the classic Gommino, reinterpreted in shearling and selected leathers
- the T Timeless bags in shearling, in hobo and micro bucket versions
- technical yet sartorial down jackets in cashmere, leather and refined fabrics
- a dedicated patch inspired by the mountains of Cortina, as a visual homage to the territory that hosts this winter narrative
Two showcases, one vision
At Chalet Franz Kraler – Club Moritzino, the Italian Winter collection is presented with restraint through a carefully curated showcase, fully aligned with its surroundings: an elegant and integrated presence that naturally becomes part of the guest experience.
A second dedicated showcase is featured at the Franz Kraler store in Cortina d’Ampezzo, with a scenographic installation inspired by the alpine landscape, composed of skiers, cable cars and evocative miniature elements.
Both showcases share the same intention: to transform the collection into an immersive narrative that engages with place, season and the visitor’s gaze.
A shared language
Tod’s presence within the Chalet is rooted in a deep alignment.
Both worlds share a vision of authentic exclusivity: discreet, essential and timeless.
Like the architecture of the Chalet, Tod’s creations are designed to endure and to speak to those who know how to observe.
Every detail, every material and every formal choice becomes part of a narrative that does not need to raise its voice to be remembered.
An elegance that finds its natural place
Tod’s presence at Chalet Franz Kraler – Club Moritzino is not simply an installation, but an aesthetic and cultural statement.
In a context where every detail is designed to convey meaning, the brand integrates with balance and intention, bringing its idea of quiet, everyday elegance to the heights.
It is a meeting of two kindred worlds: sartorial thinking applied to hospitality, craftsmanship in dialogue with landscape, and Italian taste expressed even at high altitude.
A connection that speaks of shared experiences – not only to be observed, but to be lived.
